Do I need to do anything special for coturnix quail eggs? Or is it the same as chickens?
You need to keep the humdity a bit higher, like 45%-50%, during the incubation period. Then up to 65%+ for the hatch. Coturnix take about 18 days, so you'll want to stop turning them on about day 14, since they sometimes hatch early (as early as day 15). They seem to hatch better if you lower the temp a degree after you stop turning them, but other than this, they are the same as chickens. My chickens seem to hatch better at these settings as well
