Hatching quail

I bought 50 jumbo brown eggs and around 30 tennessee reds. Placed them in the bator at the same time. The jumbo browns hatched 2 days early but the reds are due today and I don't have one peeped at all. Is it normal to go a day or two over?

Depends. bobs usually hatch at 22-23 days. If you had your cots hatch on day 15 you need to use another thermometer to check your temps cause early hatches are usually the result of high temp.

I am a total newbie too, my first eggs are set to hatch on Sunday. I am very excited but worried that I didn't get it just right..I am doing all Coturnix and have Texas A&M, Tuxedos, and Golden Italians. If you ever want to chat let me know, maybe we can pick each others brains about it.

Sure thing. I'm always willing to learn. I hatched 42 out of 50 jumbo browns. Kept humidity around 50-57 and temp at 100. They hatched at 16 days
