Hatching Question...

So I have a chick thats in the process of hatching, it is peeping and pecking from inside the shell but it has been about 4 hours with no progress and no external pip, just wondering what I should do? One other baby has hatched and this should be the only other one so, just wondering.

You can put a tiny hole in the air cell end to let it get some air and pop it back in the incubator. It won't suffocate that way, but it probably won't be ready to hatch for another day.

I wouldn’t mess with it if it’s only been 4 hours if it’s not out by 24 hours then you might want to think about helping.

Update: The baby pipped! Im hoping that it hatches today! Its making good progress

The little baby is out and fluffy as of 11am today! Yay!!
