are they harder than other breeds to hatch. i'm not having good luck. i have 14 in the bator now on day 10 and only one looks like it is developing. i also have orpington eggs and 9 out of 12 are developing. they were shipped from different places but all were packed VERY well. any thoughts?

I've only tried to hatch them once. I got six eggs from Pasofinofarm (Nonesuchfarms). 1 hatched, a pullet and she was WONDERFUL... Good I didn't get a roo or I would have had to decide between Ameraucanas and Faverolles!

That is where I got mine from this time. She was wonderful and the eggs could not have been packaged better. I would think incubator issues but I have orp eggs doing really well. I really want some of these hens. They are so cool looking and seem friendly
