Ok so I bought some mail order eggs. (eBay). I have 12 cuckoo Maran eggs and 6 African goose eggs. I didn't think they would show up as soon as they did. I have a broody BA sitting on 15 mixed eggs that I don't really care about so much. I have another clutch of eggs started in another nest but no one sitting on them(just started the clutch on Monday).
My guestion is should I switch out the eggs or should I wait and see if I get another one to get broody. These hens were broody last year and we hatched out 15-20 chicks.
She has been sitting on the current clutch for about a week. Any thoughts.? How can Iet these new eggs sit before getting them under a mama?
