hatching stress

Ok, last night my duck egg was rocking every now and then, this morning, nothing, though the chick that has already hatched keeps pecking at the egg. Should I be worried? Temp is 99.5 and humidity is 55%.

What day in incubation is it? Has it pipped? When? Does it make noise? Can you hear tapping inside the egg if it hasn't pipped- you will see rocking when they are positioning to pip but I didn't see movement while the duckling was actually pecking at the inside of the egg to pip the shell.

It's day 28, no pipping as of yet and as for noise, i don't know, the chick thats in there is too noisy to hear anything over lol.

If there are no other pips, you can remove the chick and put it someplace else so you can listen. Since it's exactly hatch date, I wouldn't worry too much just yet.
