Has anyone ever used hatching time brooder with automatic feeder, waterers and heater? Looking for something I can start inside, clean easily, and then save for any future henspital needs. Older flock in theory mareks positive. So need to keep newly vaccinated babies away from older ones dander as long as I can. Have made brooder boxes in past. But this seems to eliminate lot of pain of raising chicks.

I am using the hatching time brooder for the first time sofar I do like it but I think the best part is the way the heater works.i think for the price ill just build a brooder similar. I put blue paper towels down to make cleaning easier and replace them every night. I leave the house at 5am so can't clean it 2 or 3 times a day. With my quail i have poop bolls on there feet after 1 week 5 days. I clean it ASAP when I get home. Lesson learned after 1 week pull the floor for now on. The feeders it comes with is very small. Get the auto water system up and running fast because the waters are also not very big maybe 3/4 of a coffee cup or less will fill it. I have the 9.5 size just for my quail. Over all it's not bad but I have it mounted to the top of my quail cage. I'll put it back to a independent unit because it douse get very dirty now and will need to be cleaned once a week with the water hose to keep it cleaned. I have 32 quail in it and zero losses sofar. I'd say if you could build 1 close I'd recommend that but it isn't a bad unit just have to find whats the right or best way to use it.
