Hatching to early HELP!!!!

Here is a tip for candling without shrink wrapping. Get a mist bottle ready with nice warm water. Since there is only one egg, not a big deal. Open it up and spray. Put a blanket over the incubator and yourself (think tent) to keep humidity in. Candle fast enough to see if internally pipped. If not internally pipped, take a bit more time and see if you can see movement.
I'm sorry to say that I have never had one hatch after day 23 if it was not internally pipped

No internal pip small end of egg looks dried up and it does not move even when your turning it so it stopped developing and stuck to the side I'm gonna open it what do I look for to tell me what happened?

I opened the egg no blood little liquid still curled up hard was not stuck to the side of the egg just looked like it stoppeddeveloping nothing elseI could see it would have been pretty though

Since you have had more than one hatch early, go into lockdown 2 days before. That's my suggestion. If it was pipped externally, don't worry too much about shrink wrapping. That happens before they pip.

I'd just watch the egg. Let me know if it doesn't hatch by morning. I'll keep my eye out to see if you post again, but we've been setting up a chicken show all day and I'm exhausted @_@ That was a lot of work.

I have opened the incubator, and my only shrink wrapping occurs before pip. I have only had maybe 3 out of the 100+ I've hatched this year die after pipping. I have had a few who's membrane had dried out and they had a hard time, but I assisted and they are still alive today.

I'm here for any help you need! PM me if you'd like as well.
