Hatching under a brooder heater???

I would love to do an "experiment" with my kids while we are homeschooling for our quarantine...Can I hatch eggs under a brooder heater (the kind that's like a hot plate on legs) if we turn the eggs 4 times a day and mist them to keep them moist?

Not if it won't get up to 100°F. It will also be difficult to control the humidity in something that is not mostly closed.
