Hatching with broody hen, remove chick?

Looks like she’s broken her bloodiness. She was out eating and had her chick with her. Urgent run to TC now for an incubator.
You will also most likely need a brooder with heat lamp, or some other kind of chick heater.
You 'could' try giving her the new chicks once they hatch, but it would most likely fail, and she might even try to kill them.

So only today when I got home one egg was chirping and the chick was starting to peck to get out, no hole yet. I think we only have two viable chicks in the eggs, this is one. I put it under the hen again, and she seems thrilled. She started gathering all the shavings around her again. Is it possible she realizes I returned her egg? My thought is she may accept it if she sits with it tonight and helps it hatch. First baby is still doing great with momma outside in the isolation pen.

Hi there, how did it end? How are you and your chickens doing now?

She saw a YouTube video about hatching store eggs. I think she may be off eggs for life now lol
That's nothing. When I was buying store eggs, I would only buy pasture raised. So these girls were roaming around and many of the eggs looked like had a donation from a rooster. 😁
However, on couple of occasions, the egg was a bloody mess when I cracked it.
Very unpleasant sight, but it has not stopped me from eating eggs.
