well, i have hatched and had some success, but lost some too. of 7 fertile eggs 3 have made it; 3 never made it out and 1 died shortly after. They hatched a day plus earlier. As i understand it, this meant that my temp was too high, though the thermometer looked good. They didn't seem too dry or wet. i wonder if the little PC fan made it like a convection oven. Anyway, we have 3. Two are production reds of some type, the other is an interesting cross, a brown leghorn mom and a white wyandotte pop. If anyone has advice on my failures i would take it. the dead ones looked fully developed but never made an effort to hatch.
