hatching

I have an Octagon 20 incubator I kept it at a temperature of 99.5 and humidity of 45% up to day 18. Then I bumped up humidity to 65%. Out of 10 eggs, one died at around day 3 another at day 9 and one embryo never grew. Out of the remaining 7 only 3 hatched. The others did not ever pip or start hatching. I am not sure where I went wrong. They were set on an automatic turner and checked regularly. The three that hatched are completely healthy. Any advice would be appreciated!

Second have you read the featured thread/article about eggs failing to hatch? That may have some info that would help.

My first guess is your humidity was off for them. Did you happen to do an eggtopsy? If so, did you see excess fluid in the egg?
