Hi I'm new and have chickens pig and ducks. And of course our dog. And several eggs in the incubator. Imy first egg started. Hiring yesterday and after ready about hatching eggs I didn't want to help it. And now I think k it is dead. It isn't moving or chirping. I took some of the shell away to see if it would move and if it was breathing a. I don't see any movement. I see yellowish stuff but no blood. Dhow do you k ow for sure it is dead? Or is the simple fact that it isn't moving or chirping anymore the answer it is dead? Pls help

When you say it started hatching, you mean it poked a little hole in the shell? After it does that, you're supposed to give it 24 hours before helping.

How long has it been since it started hatching?
