hatching

How long can eggs sit in carton before incubating? We have a small incubator and it's full but we have some waiting to go. We are turning them to prevent sticking I guess but not sure how long they can be out? Thanks!

First of all,

I heard 7 - 10 days, I also heard some people using refriderated ones 2-3 weeks old. ??? I figure try no longer than 10 days. After 7 days your hatch rate goes down.

I'm waiting for mine to hatch (4/3 & 4/5) so I can stuff my silkie eggs in there. come the 5th 1 will be 11 days old

so we'll see.
