If i let the ducks sit on the eggs will the eggs all hatch within 48 hours, if so how come werent different eggs layed on different days,

and what happens if i have 10 ducks lying in one nest and one of the ducks goes brody and sits on the eggs what happens then, and what ends up happening to all the other ducks that want to lay egss and sit on the eggs

The eggs do not start to develop until they are kept warm by momma duck. That way they will all develop at that same rate and be ready to hatch right around the same time.

Since I have never had my ducks sit I don't know the answer to your second question. But I will be waiting to learn the answer from some of our experience duck owners. [IMG]
