Hatchling quail with curled up foot

At 7am I had a new chick. Now at 2 the chick still can’t stand and feet remain curled under. Help the newbie.... is this normal

This is normal and there is a simple and effective cure. Go to youtube and search quail splayed leg. The link below is a good example. I have used masking tape with good results.

Also, there are plenty of tutorials on this site.
