Thanks! Yes,,she's a wonderful mommy , she got off the nest to show me,and let me snap a couple shots! bless her heart! there's still 2 more,,only piping,,think they'll hatch if these guys are already out? hope so...

So cute! Is this her first time hatching? I have a duck on 3 eggs right now (was 6, but 3 didn't make it) and at least one of them has pipped. I'm worried that she'll trample them. There is another female in there with her. They were sharing sitting duties, but the second one got bored and has now started laying again. Do you think I should remove her? I'm not really sure where she could go!

Thanks! The father is a white pekin,,and the two females that layed are a swedish black,and a rouen. So these babes are mixed!
I would keep the one that's sitting alone with her nest,,but if they're sharing the duty,leave them both in there,,won't be a problem. And they won't get trampled,,lol,,I thought that to watching her sit on them,but it's all natural and they now what they're doing )

well,,sadly,,the other 2 eggs never hatched. So we have 3 healthy adorable ducklings!

So happy for you, our muscovy hatched 4 ducklings 2 weeks ago we lost one though and am very happy We also have 3 healthy ducklings
