Hate it when no one comes to the party...

I completely understand how you feel!

That happened to me for my college graduation party. We had about 40-50 people invited that RSVP'd! I rented tables and chairs for our patio too! Not to mention the food, alcohol, etc. We have about 15 people...all, but one was family. All those friends that RSVP'd and not one came! The one non-family member that came is DHs boss, who also knows my parents (since I was little!) and lives about 10 minutes away. He can almost be counted like family. I told DH I don't want a party for finishing my MS...I don't think I can eat that much leftovers again!

Get to I-5 to 299 and PM me when you get close (bring chains-supposed to be a storm like the one in '05!)...but it will be a New year's day (not EVE) PARTY, and I expect to be sleeping. Maybe next year....?

Well, it's 10:06 pm, and everyone who said they'd come over has been here, for a beer, a munchie, and a conversation. Now they're on to other adventures...
Do we stay (in cases someone stops by unexpectedly)
or do we go to the brewery where we know other friends are hanging out (where we work and get a few free beers), (FREE tow-truck ride home if needed)

Go! Leave a note saying "Brewery Move". Have fun for me too! Hubby is on the couch snoring ZZZZZZZZZZZ.

Will you be popping balloons @ midnight to get him in to the spirit?
The note's a possibility. My friend just put on a video of the Grateful Dead's 1978 New year's show....
but I've seen it before - may need to move on...
