I am so impaitient when it comes to waiting to see what gender my chicks are lol. Anyone else have this problem.
 
Yep!! I keep sitting inside my Brooder going are you a boy or a girl... How sure was that professional sexer... Time will tell.

yeppers...I drive DH insane trying to guess gender...he just agrees with whatever I think when I ask him what he thinks they are...

Most of them it doesn't even matter as they are meat birds, but I still have to guess !!

I hate guessing because we have a straight run of six and can only keep 3 per the landlord's order and only girls because of city code. Boooo!
 
I know! I promised my neighbors no roosters, but I'm bonding with all of the little hooligans (chickens, not neighbors

Yes We are trying to predict too. Are the males more hyper? That is our new theory.

I have to black sexlinks that square off on each other...does that mean they are roosters? or do hens fight a lot? (i'm totally new to chickens, so excuse me if that is a silly question!)
How long does it take for them to start looking like roosters?
