Hattie update.. Need some advice please!

Ohno really?!?! :'( She has been on anti biotics all week too. I could cry.

She has put her on Antirobe capsules now.. she was on Baytril.

I should have travelled further and taken her to an Avian vet instead.. I can't afford it now. So you don't think I should cut her foot and try draining it myself?

I only have one taken about 5 days ago!

I just hope she pulls through and the stronger antibiotics work for her.

Ok so mum managed to take some (blurry!!) photos!

The blue on her foot is a spray my uncle (who is a farmer) gave me.. it hasnt done anything though.

As you can see there is swelling underneath the foot and at the front of her ankle. What do you suggest I do Kathy?

I think you should call the vet and ask for an anti-inflammatory.

I have just used the last of Metacam but even that didn't seem to be doing much.

Do you think it needs draining Kathy?

I don't think that type of swelling is drainable.

That's what the Vet said too.

Let's hope the antibiotics work. I have literally tried everything now!
