havahart traps and catching chickens

i recently got a trap and i wanted to place it in the yard to catch predators before they strike
my question is i fear the chickens free ranging will go in the trap after the bait and get cought

does theis happen i have a havahart 1045 trap big enough for raccoons

do chickens get trapped in these traps??? thanks

Yep, chickens can get caught, but that's the good thing about this type of trap - they don't get hurt. You can also just set the traps at dusk after the chickens have gone to roost.
