Have 2 questions??

I drove home from work once and saw a calf on the road side walking around just to the side of a busy highway...a big calf. I called the sheriff and they said the owner was just contacted and on their way. That baby was too close to the road.

A different time I was driving down our 2 lane highway at night, about 11pm. Out of the blue I saw a horses head in my headlights. Scared the "beep" out of me. I pulled over and with a flashlight, slowed down the drivers in the area and had them drive slow. It was a neighbor's yard. The granddaughter visiting opened up the main gate and the minature horses got out. She has a farm hand and he went out chasing them down. After they caught the animals, I went home. Excitement in my little town...lol

I went over the next day and she let me see the animals. She always lets me in...chickens, pigs, lama, cow, mini horses, geese, ducks, ostridge, emu. I probably missed something. A zoo I tell you, a zoo.

The dh and I caught them and caged them. They are calming down now. Will introduce them to our other chickens later on today. There was 1 rir,1 barred rock bantam and 1 leghorn. How could any one abandon an animal without making sure that they would be taken care of?
