Hi everyone,
Unfortunately on Monday morning I was awoken by crowing! So Funky is definitely a rooster and as we live in an urban area in Sydney we are going to have to give him away. The place where we bought him will exchange or refund & have assured me they have several avenues to go down to try & find him a new home. I'm feeling quite sad about letting him go because he's quite the character & Stella is going to miss him terribly- she follows him everywhere . We will get another chicken but who knows how Stella & a new one will go? Any suggestions on whether I should go for a younger or older hen?

Oh that is not good at all so sorry and I do hope you find a suitable hen / friend for Stella ...
