Located in the Smithville NJ area..have 4 hens ( had them about a year and having a GREAT time) Looking to add a couple more.... anyone know of a few girls that might be looking for a new home ?????

How far do you want to travel? Are you interested in a certain kind? I have a couple pullets that just started laying, 2 light brahmas, 1 black minorca, and an easter egger. I'm in zipcode 19534.

I found out that there is a livestock auction (including chickens) tomorrow (Saturday) at "Cowtown" in Jersey (http://www.njsouth.com/index-cowtown.htm#mkt ) at 1PM where you can probably find some hens

Run over to "CowTown" I'm sure someone in the parking lot has some nice birds to sell. They don't let livestock inside the main sheds. Or head over to Cumberland county and drive the backroads. Lots of folks out there have chickens maybe willing to sell you a few. Check out Roadstown, Elmer and Greenwich.
