I just had to show off my new Silkie Roo. This guys got all the rite stuff! Except color

Colors easy to fix. Just look at that comb (like a little pea). His toes are about perfect, & he's got the thickest down I've ever felt. This boy is really gonna improve my silkie flock.

Nice!! He looks exactly like two of the ones I have.. So you say color is easy to fix? How? I assume it will breed out, but how soon.

I expect to have to work threw at least 2 generations with them. Then I may have to introduce new blood to diminish bad traits such as color. So to answer your question about 3 years or more. Great things come with patients.....Like the Subrahma!...They breed true. Coming soon to a meat store near you.
