I have a 10-week old chicken and every time I take her out of where they are sleeping she doesn't want to stand or walk around. but when I put her back it seems like she's standing right back up and walk around. Is that normal the first two pic is her just sitting next to her sister on the ground and the other two is her standing up and where I put them to sleep and she's walking around fine. Just was curious if that was normal. And all the other ones stand up normally and walk around. Little confused. Appreciate any insight and help

Sounds kinda like me, but I have the excuse of being old...

When she does get up to move around does it appear to be difficult and/or slow? I have a hard-ish time getting up, but once I'm up, I can walk around fine. She might have some type of leg/hip problem along those lines.

It seems like when she's back in with her sisters The area they sleep she hopped around fine. She goes on and off the little nesting rod I have in there with them. she's been eating drinking .She seems fine otherwise.

Maybe she is just scared of being lifted and moved and freezes to the spot?
I have no idea really, but if she seems OK in with her hatch-mates then I would just leave her be and let her have fun in with them.

I think you hit the nail on the head. I went down to see if it was because she didn't like the floor. I put some bedding down and she froze again. I put her right back in with her sisters and she's walking around like nothing happened

I think just respect her wishes and not lift her up. You will be able to win her over by giving treats in the palm of your hand and letting her approach you.
Remember chickens are prey animals so being lifted from above is probably the most scary thing imaginable. It is what a hawk would do.
I have had chicks and adults who want nothing to do with me and others who find me an object of great curiosity to be explored. I always let them set the ground rules.

Yep! Let her get used to handling at her own pace, if at all.

When handling is necessary, instead of coming at her from above (like a predator would) go under her chest, and do it slowly. Pair it with a word or phrase (mine is "picking you up now!") and she'll eventually know what's coming and be prepared for it, even if she isn't happy about it.
