Have any of you guys ever heard of poultry diapers??

That would be a crested Duck, they come in every color of the rainbow! they are great ducks, unfortunately the one in that pic, has passed on. I am trying to find a couple more, but they are hard to come by around here.

Ok, well I just bookmarked the page.
You all realize that if I actually buy these things my husband WILL have me offically committed, right?

Where do you buy the duck ones? I only saw chicken diapers on that website.

The woman who makes them will make them to fit any poultry, including ducks, geese, and turkeys. There's a page where she gives instructions on how to measure your bird so she can make it to fit.

My Leghorn, Obelisk, absolutely hates hers, but Slifer, my Brahma was cool with it...but then again she tolerated me and noone else...
They come in all sorts of colours and patterns. I wish I had thought of them first.

If I didn't have to be at work at 7:30 in the morning, I'd wrestle Obelisk's on her...
They come with a plastic baggie and a pantiliner on the inside as the ploop and splort catchers. I would say that leaving the diaper on the bird for about six hours would fill it up nicely. But you'd have to look for an egg from a hen of laying age, because she'd hate lugging that around all day.

Sweetie, my Silver Phoenix house hen thinks she is being punished when she has to put her diaper on. She just hates it. So as long as she does not poop on the rug I let her just stay on a towel. She seems to understand that if she goes off the towel and makes a mess she is gonna wear the diaper.
