Have farming in my blood

Hello, grew up on a Nebraska farm every summer until I was 17.
Now as an adult, along with major gardening on my property; decided it's time to raise some hens. It will be a battle as my City does not currently allow chickens. Want to find out here if there is anyone else try to get the City of Cerritos, California to allow chickens.
