Hello. I am new to this site but not new to raising chickens. Over the years I've had many different breeds including Polish which are my favorite. I raise them because it's fun and I give away any excess eggs for free to neighbors and friends. The chickens have 2 large coops along with numerous nesting boxes and an enclosed run . But during the day they're allowed to free range on approximately 1/2 acre that is fenced in. They rarely leave the yard. Currently I have two hens that just hatched babies. That's always fun as well! I hope I can learn more on this website and maybe perhaps have some advice for other people who are raising chickens. Susan
