Have no clue what breed this is??

I got 3 new hens about a month ago and I have no idea what breed this interesting black hen is. She has really iridescent feathers that seem almost blue. I just joined BYC yesterday and after being glued to the website for 24 hours straight (

) I am now extremely curious as to what she is. Any suggestions would be great!! Thank you in advance

hmmm Maybe a sex-link hen. which is a type of mix. shes very pretty!!

Its an austraorpington! Just kidding...but it does look like an australorp, and I DO see some orptington features too...very interesting looking girl....does she always stand hunched over like that? She looks cold...or almost like she doesn't feel well...

Haha, I will look into the australorp breed and see if I can place her. And thank you! And no, she was sort of in mid bend and scratch the ground process when I was taking the pics about 30 mins ago. Also wondering what in the world the big black thing I was sticking in her face was

. And she's not cold, I promise! It's uncannily warm here in SW Virginia right now.

I should clarify and say she looks like an australorp mix...I thought I had said that

I get ahead of myself sometimes...but australorps are black and kinda irridecent, and all of my buff orps all seem to have that facial expression, and the yellow color kinda makes me lean towards orpington mix as well
