So here is my current situation, I have a single baby mallard (hatched from my Cayuga, a wild mallard layed her egg there, long story) and she is very bonded to me, she goes with me everywhere in a bag with a towel in it, and I can pretty much never leave her alone, but, I have to leave for maybe 5 days or more or less because my sister in Texas has a concussion and I have to go see her because she’ll come home with us since she can’t fly, anyways, I need to find a home for her for the time I’ll be gone, but my question is: Will she bond to a new person in that time or will she bond back to me when I reuntitw with her? Thank you for any advice it is greatly appreciated.
