Hello I am having trouble i have 2 welsummers when I ordered them I was to get 2 female but I think they sent me a male and a femalei took some pictures of them so maybe some could help me with telling if I have 2 female or one of each. Then I have these other chicken that I can't tell what they are I ordered 2 golden lakenvelder I have pictures of them also if someone can please help me I would like that very much

Yes, sorry, your suspicions are correct. Welsummer cockerel in second picture.

Don't know much about the Lakenvelders, but the bottom pic shows a classic hen. Not sure how much variation is allowed in the breed, so don't know about pic #3.

Often times hatchery chicks do not meet the breed standard, but they can still be good chickens. As for the rooster, just bad luck. There's about 10% boys that mistakenly get sexed as pullets, and the hatcheries usually have a disclaimer. I got a boy also this spring.

Yes, that is an EE pullet. She has the pea comb, slate legs, and muffs with a little beard. You will likely get blue/green eggs from her. Hope you are not disappointed. I love EEs.
