I have 5 pullets 1 Barred Rock, 2silver laced Wyandottes and 2 Golden Laced Wyandottes.
My Golden Laced Wyandottes were hatched on 5/15/2009 and One started laying around mid November. My Dot lays nearly every day. I have two coops and I know all my pullets but one is laying eggs. I tested the theory by separating Lutzie for a couple of days in her coop and no eggs were laid but the other pullets layed four eggs in the other coop both days. All of the birds are healthy and the Rooster breeds with all the girls including Lutzie. Since I only have a few layers I know by the color and shape of the eggs which girls are laying which eggs. Surely she should be laying by now.
Any ideas as to what to look for or check???? I see her sitting in the nest all the time and she sings egg song all the time too.
