Have you ever known a cat to kill a chicken?

well, since I am sorta tired of "so and so says this..." posts, then I have to say that I have never personally experienced a loss to a cat.

I did have a feral cat in the yard who looked hungrily at them, but the dogs chased it off before it had a chance to act on anything.

I would not trust a cat to be that near my chickens (well, except my own cat who is 18 years old, is afraid of the chickens and is half blind, half deaf and too senile to do damage anyway
