Have you ever made hoop "tractors" that fit the rows of your garden?

I was thinking about relocation my veggie garden closer to the coop and taking advantage of their foraging skills. I was thinking about designing hoop row "tractors" that would be about 2 feet wide and the length of the garden (covered with netting. I would move it to a new row every day or two. I have unlimited space for a garden and could make the garden as large as I like.
Does this sound feasible or has anyone done anything like this?
Just thinking and dreaming of spring.

i've seen them and there very easy to make. Would it be a day only tractor and then lock them up at night? If this is the case they are incredibly simple to make since you barely have to predator proof it.

I am planting a garden too and wonder "will they eat up my plants and veggies like the ones I give them on purpose?" Id sure like them to be on bug patrol but dont want to lose my plants.

I'm wondering, too, sounds like a GREAT idea!

Will they also "weed" the between the rows where the "tractor" is placed?

row tractors can pretty much only be used when you aren't growing things, they will eat the old, dead, dying or otherwise nonproductive plants and save you some trouble. They'll eat any weeds that they encounter inside the tractor.

Hmm, now my imagination is going too...it would be nice to have less work after the season and before in the garden with my 3 little kids!

Well I have to sit in front of the garden when I let them out of the run cause they can do damage really fast! I have learned (I gotta weed anyway) that I dont put the weeds on the compost pile any more. I just throw all the weed into the run and it is gone in a flash! I trimmed trees too and put the smaller twiggy branches in there and they ate that all up too. I would like them in the garden but my set up isnt good for this awesome idea here. I would sure like photos though
