Have you ever met someone that just made you smile?

I'm sure most of you have at some point in another, but it seems like such a rare thing now a days!

Every now and then I'll come across a person who is just so pleasant to be around that I can't help but smile. These people always make my day brighter, even if they only say one or two words to me. Today I was wondering if I have ever been able to make anyone else smile like that and I realized that I would like to start trying harder to make other's smile.

So who are these people that make you smile and how do they do it? The person who made me smile today is someone I met in a class of mine three semesters ago. I think the reason he makes me smile so much is because he truly listens to what you are saying. I think it's very difficult to find people like that!

Funny you should mention this. My answer is "yes"! I love to be around people, and I love just talking with people, even if its just a couple words. I always believed, that your smile could really change a person's outlook. Like you said, it just makes your day! I do hope that I make other people's days, just like they have made mine for me!

I greet people as part of my job (NO - not Walmart!) and I try to be the first one to speak and I always smile. I truly believe it smoothes out the rough edges immediately. Hope I spelled that right!
So keep on smiling, it is such a rare sight these days. Actually, I think that it shocks some people!

All (or most) of my friends make me smile.

But one of them makes me laugh so hard everyday that I think I get a workout on my abs everyday I see her!

She's just so humorous and fun to be around.

We have a bunch of inside jokes and we laugh about the most strange and random things. And because I have chickens, I tell her all about them (she doesn't have chickens) and she just thinks it's so funny and loves visiting and seeing my incubator and my baby chick, Ivory.

To make others smile, I simply just smile at them or say hi when I see them, whether I really know them or not. In school, if someone is walking down the hall and smiles at me, I smile back. It's my way of silently saying hello to them I guess.

Oh and Ivory, my baby chicken, makes me smile everyday as well.

She's always in her brooder box, ready to greet me. When I put my hand in to pet her, she will run up to it and step onto it so I can pick her up. When I'm having a bad day, I just simply take Ivory out and sit down and read a book or do homework while she wonders around or takes a nap in my lap or on my shoulder.

Her crazy antics and adorableness make me smile everytime I see her-from the time I wake up in the morning and to when I say goodnight to her and go to bed. Because her brooder box is in my bedroom, I can see her in it from my bed so she's the first thing I see and hear in the morning and before I go to bed.

So it just proves that animals can really make you smile, too.

My mom and youngest DS make me smile, my mom because she is such a genuinely GOOD person and my DS because you just cant keep a straight face with him around. He completely walks to the beat of a different drum.
Also, there are quite a few members on here that make me smile. Either because they give me that last piece of the puzzle in advice on a situation, or goofing around or just being a friend.

There is a guy at the plant I work at that makes me laugh all the time (Noooo...it's not like that...He's a lot older than me and involved w/someone...and I'm not interested.. lol). He will hold the door to the building we work in and greet everyone that comes in with "Welcome to Wal-Mart!". The first time he said that to me, I looked at him like he was nuts and said "What???" "His reply: "Just practicing for my next job!" He's always walking around saying things like "Anyday I'm above ground is a great day!" You just never know what is gonna come out of his mouth.

I love getting on here and seeing all the cute little fuzzybutts and reading up on how they all have different personalities.
