have you ever seen a chicken sit like this?

One of my young chickens sits weird:



She seems fine -- eats, walks, sleeps, gets along with the flock, normal in every way . . . except she sometimes sits like this.
Is this a sign of a problem? Or is it normal chicken behavior?

My chickens sit and lay all sorts of funky ways...sometimes they nap with feet in the air sunning and I just have to go check on them because it looks unnatural lol. Does she stand up normally and walk without a gimp? If so, I wouldn't worry.

Yup, as far as I can tell she's absolutely fine. I've just never seen a chicken do this.

Eh, she's being lazy. If she spent a lot of time that way, I'd be concerned. But this is just the chicken version of couchpotato time.
