Have you ever seen Light Brahmas this dark? I think the Hatchery may have goofed...got 5 of them...

There's a good chance you got lights - When I got my light brahmas from McMurray Hatchery, they looked almost identical to my dark brahmas, but turned out light in the end!

It could just be a hatchery thing, and yes - The lights are supposed to have a bluish undercoat of down.

I will take any type of Brahma, but will keep my fingers crossed for light ones... The hatchery sent me two checklists for all the breeds I was sent, and both times it said"light brahmas". I put in a "no substitute" order. Either way, Im stoked!
