Yes, yes, yes, and YES! I had to wait a couple hours...Have you ever...locked yourself inside the coop?
I have! That was the teaching moment about having a way to unlock the coop from the inside.

I have never had that happen! Was it fun?Yes, yes, yes, and YES! I had to wait a couple hours...
It wasn't exactly fun! Haha, I know that I'm usually the only one to care for the girls, so I had no idea when someone would come! But atleast I was with the chickies! They were happy to have the extra time!I have never had that happen! Was it fun?

Wow! What an experience!Yes, I have locked myself in my coop! Thankfully found a piece of wire that I made into a hook and dropped it through the hardware cloth on the door to unfasten the hook that somehow, prolly a one in a million chance, managed to swing around and fasten itself.
And while I have thankfully never encountered a squirrel or skunk, I went to lock up the rooster coop a week ago and a second before the door latched, had a sparrow come careening through the crack left in the doorway, hitting me in the side of the head with it's wing on the way by.
I was glad it wasn't bigger than a sparrow!
