have you guys ever mixed a blue chicken with a buff chicken

I do like the blue wheaton but it would be easier to get buff and blue I have a question if you breed buff with black do you get red?

No, you won't. Blue is a dilute form of black so essentially, they are pretty much the same color. That's oversimplified, of course. And the guy named Tim previously mentioned on Poultry Improvement is probably our BYC Tim. I have relied on him for a couple of years to help with some of my questions. Here is his genetics site:
