Have you heard of this sexing method??

I got 5 cochins from a lady who told me the same thing, said shh its a secret dont tell anyone, she heard it from some other people in her town, anyway was the same story.
I asked for 4 hens 1 roo, well 2 of them ended up drowning before they were able to be sexed, but i ended up with 2 roos and 1 hen....
For me when I tried it, it kept changing.

Mcmuarry did a dirty jobs with the host of the show and sexed chicks sort of told you how to do it for some showed you how to make them poo then check the vents, and for some others it showed feather sexing, i dont remember the breeds though, anyway they were grabbing chicks by the wing looking at the pin feathers on the wing under the light, the ones with only long pin feathers were roos i think and the ones with long and short pin feathers were hens, could of been other way around.

Then I have been told that the chicks with longer toes are roos, honestly, i have not tested any and wouldnt remember it anyway. I need to learn to vent sex...

Thats what I figured. Never heard of this one before though. Leave it up to the Aussies.
I can always go to this board to give me a laugh though.
I was going to try the socks method, but we don't wear socks were in Hawaii, just slippers. Anyone who throws slippers inside the house gets dirty lickings for bringing them into the house
