Have you stopped eating duck?

I still eat duck and chicken...just realized i couldn't eat my own...names or not! I sold a bunch of roos that I had intended to have processed...no not for me! Dumb since I have processed poultry, beef and lamb...so dumb but i couldn't just betray their trust! I'm pitiful!

I've actually never eaten duck before and now that I actuall have pet ducks, I can't eat chicken in "live" form (like wings, legs, etc)anymore. I can only eat it if it's diced.

But there's many meat creatures I've never been able to fathom eating - venison, rabbit, lamb - basically anything cute and cuddly. I was actually a vegetarian for 8+ years. I don't eat lobster either but that's because they're sea roaches!

i don't have a problem with eating meat but since i got my pet ducks i don't think i could.

i can eat cuddly, i've been to France and eaten frogs legs and horse and have friends who have eaten puffin but i don't think i could now eat duck.

cuddly is anything i would eat that others think .... NO, thats wrong, they are too cuddly.

i'm just saying that i don't have a problem with eating anything but since i got my girls, duck is off the menu, for me!

It hasn't changed my food choice. I love grilled duck..mmmm...I still order duck if we eat Chinese feed. I wouldn't like to eat my pet ducks and chickens. I have a pretty hardy stomach and mind when it comes down to eating animals. I can shoot, clean, butcher, and then eat a yummy deer without a twitch of my stomach. My hubby has trouble eating something that he had to clean.

I don't think I could eat duck now... but I was never to fond of it in the first place. I do like chicken. I have always had a little problem eating eggs - I'm not sure why... I eat them, but I can't think about it... or it bothers me. I eat beef though...moose... and deer... it doesn't make sense... : )
