the only time i went camping with chicks was when we went to pick up chicks from a breeder 4 hrs away and my parents decided to make a trip out of it. they were a week old and went on a 4 day trip with us. we baught them a pen to be outside and eat grass and well they attracted ALOT of attiontion

I take my 2 crippled call ducks on vacation with me each year to my friend's beach house and let them swim in the lake there. They seem to like riding in their basket during travel and I enjoy the looks I get when I go through a drive thru or take them out at gas stops to 'fly' them, lol.
