Having a dull canning moment..is it really worth it??

I have never canned dried beans but won't go back to store canned beans again. The taste and texture is SOOOO much better with the dried. I soak and cook a large batch at a time and them freeze the extras for future use.
 
I always 'quick soak' my dry beans. Boil the water for a few minutes, remove from heat, and cover the pan. Wait an hour or so and finish just like you would if they'd soaked all night.
