Having a lot of trouble finding DE

I had the same problem, but I had a friend that lived like 45mins away, and came to work out this way twice a week...she found it in her feed store and would buy it and bring it my way on her work days and I just paid her.

Tried the local garden center... no luck

I called a local feed store and they carry it. I wanted to try Lowe's and Home Depot and all closer options before going to the feed store, but oh well. And I also completely skipped over the feed store since I haven't been in there since I sold my steer in Feb. Thanks guys!

This is almost certainly NOT food-grade. (Safer is a brand of insecticidal products for plants; and the non-food-grade stuff is generally a lot cheaper). Insecticidal versions are almost always NON-food grade.

Thats what I thought too. But I promised to see if we carried DE @ HD. The answer is yes but not the kind that you want to use in coops. Thats also why I put the ingredients too. I would still like to know what the "other" ingredients are.

Azure Standards co op online has it for 50 lb for $17.50. You can get online, make a free account, call them, ask if anyone has a drop off around your area..they do not charge shipping fees...they only have a $50 minimum and they also carry great sources for organic starter, layer feed and soy / corn free products and a whole assortment of food and household products..they are really great.

One thing to keep in mind for those of you who can not find DE locally. If you are just using it for dryness in your coops and not mixing it in your feed, then you can use Stall Dri or Sweet PDZ for the same results. Those can usually be easilly found at feed stores.
