Having a problem keeping my chicken off the hanging feeder? help!

Mine are more rain shields than chicken guards, but the perform the same function. Look at the two in the background.

It's just old roofing tin but it works.

I fashioned a cone-shaped piece out of chicken wire for the top of my hanging waterer. That definitely kept them off.
