I have a beautiful Rooster named Jack. I think he has a grudge against me, honestly. He attacks me every chance he gets. I trusted him at first until I was filling up the reusable water container while my little flock was free ranging, and he flogged me right on the face. I have two children under the age of 10 and I'm worried he may do that to them as well. What do I do? Please help.

:welcome Rehome him or eat him. With children in the picture he is too dangerous to try to rehabilitate.
I can't find anyone to take him, and I have such a big heart I don't know if I could cull him. 😭

It's an aggressive animal that can permanently scar your kids.
Having a soft heart for him is having a hard heart for your kids and they should be much more important.
Do you have a neighbor or anyone like that who could do it?

MY husband could, it's just I am a sucker for animals. And I couldn't imagine what I would do if he attacked one of my babies. I'd go mad. They are very much more important I just had high hopes for this rooster.

I found someone to take him, and I let them know what his behaviors are like

I agree, he has given you every warning that he is not safe with other people. He needs to go. You really cannot wish him nice, even if he was nice, he is not now, he is not going to be again.

An attack in the face? You could be blind or scarred. Even animal deserves a good life. Not every animal deserves an endless life. Protect yourself and your kids.
