My keets (30) are coming this week and two of my chickens are broody atm.

1. Is it ok to have chickens raise the keets? if so:
2. How many keets can one chicken raise (an ameraucana and black copper marens - this would be their first attempt at raising anything).
3. Where should I set up their brooders? Options are: in my garage (where the rest of the keets will be brooded under a lamp); Both broods together in a small coop, (6X8 with a 10X10 pen), separate from the rest of the flock; or someplace else - I am open to any other suggestions.

1. Yes, it's the best way.
2. 12-15
3. Mine have always brooded in the coop with the freedom to venture outside as they please.

I wouldn't count on your hens accepting day old keets. They might, but it depends on the individual hen.
