Having Chicks Shipped in Winter?

Just wonding what kind of luck everyone has had having chicks shipped to them in the winter. It's getting down in the mid 20's at night here.
 
A friend a county south just got her order in today from Ideal. Lost 1, but the other 50 or so are doing well.

I have had orders come in on Jan 31 and early Feb. They always did well.

I think Mypetchicken ships in winter with a heating pad in the box.. It cost extra but is well worth it.. How may are you getting ? Large quantitis should be fine with out heat as they create there own..
