Hi, lost a few but that's ok, the incubator I bought first was one of those little yellow 7 egg ones you have to do everything manually.
Hello, hope the hatch is going well!
After watching loads of mistakes on YouTube I thought only putting 4 eggs in and tilting so they had more space would be a good idea. And after the 18 days I laid them flat with airsack toward the top. I also found a straw and little syringe so I could add water through the air vent to keep the humidity for hatching. It works great, just got to learn the right amount of humidity.
One should hatch today, I'll give it a couple of days.
Wee Lucy went broody so I put 4 eggs under her, she's happy. I'm making her a brooding pen cos Jess kicked her off the eggs this morn to lay. They have one each but apparently the other is for sleeping not laying lol
